Jayne May-Sysum is a professional soprano who has appeared in major concert venues across the United Kingdom including Symphony Hall, Gloucester Cathedral, St John’s Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields performing works of many composers including Handel, Mozart, Bach and Vivaldi. Her operatic performances include L’Elisir d’Amore, Carmen, and Werther, but Jayne also enjoys operetta and musical repertoire. Her performance schedule includes operatic and recital appearances and theatre shows including We’ll Gather Lilacs, As Time Goes By and I Got Rhythm.

An exponent of the works of many composers, her training was in the classical and operatic repertoire but she also has a great love of musical theatre. She is a soprano whose musical sincerity and love of communicating with her audiences has won her plaudits wherever she has performed.
